This Incense holder/trinket shell dish is made from dark grey speckled stoneware clay.
Imprinted from a shell found on the shore of Mount Maunganui beach, New Zealand.
 
A rough organic stone texture around the outside with a smooth white clear glaze inside the shell.
 
Approx 10 cm x 3 cm
 
All ceramics are handmade and perfectly imperfect.  The irregular shape or finger marks mean that it's one-of-a-kind. The imperfections tell the story about how it was made.
